He is absolutely stunning and will be very much like his World Champion sire in looks and type, but will be taller. We have admired this colt tremendously since his birth. Jadoube Ibn Lahab DMF is the only Straight Egyptian son of Al Lahab in the US. Jadoube is out of the gorgeous HMT Sylvanna - a granddaughter of Ruminaja Ali, Alidaar, and *Ibn Galal 1-16. July 2008 We had such a wonderful visit with the Hargis family from Kentucky. They brought their treasured broodmares Ariel Danseur (Imperial Imdal x PRA Pianissimo) and Saaraa (Hadaya El Tareef x Saadaa by *Zaghoul) to stay with us for the next year. We are so very pleased with the extreme quality of these mares. Thanks so much Jenna, Walter and Emma for entrusting us with your mares. We are so delighted with your most generous offer. June 2008 A big congratulations to Rick Grizzell on his fantastic wins at the 2008 Egyptian Event!This was Rick's first time ever showing a horse and he went 4 times Egyptian Event Top Ten with Inasa Simone. Congratulations to our good friends Pat and Dick Platzek of El Masr Arabians. This year's Egyptian Event was extremely exciting for them as the mare, Shahara El Masr, went World Class Mares Ten and Over!!! They had owned Shahara most all of her life, until recently when she sold to Cairo, Egypt. The judges remarked that they had judged mare classes all over the world and this was the most beautiful class of mares that they had ever judged! It warmed our hearts so much to see the beaming of Pat and Dick's faces. They were so thrilled, the joy and pride just flowed from them. It was so wonderful to share the excitement with them! May 2008 Congratulations to Donna Groseclose on the birth of a fabulous filly by AA Al Bashyr and out of Destiny Bey. Photos coming soon. This filly should be a knock-out considering her bloodlines. Donna is again breeding Destiny to AA Al Bashyr for a 2009 foal. Congratulations to Carl Starr and Shelly on the birth of two beautiful foals by Bashyr- a Black colt out of Bint Shabbara, (Moniet El Sharaf x *Bint Gabbara) and a filly out of Abreel Hadeeya (Minsteel x Shaikhina Glory).
We are very pleased to welcome another fine colt, definitely herd sire quality! AMA Karina, a full blood to Imperial Baarez, foaled a fantastic colt for us. He is huge, beautiful and such a strong, bold mover! Photos below at one week old. April 2008 We are extremely happy to announce the arrival of a gorgeous colt by AA Al Bashyr and out of SBF Karizmaa (MB Talmaar x Rakizah by Rofann). He is everything we had wished! Wonderful, sweet disposition, absolutely beautiful, sculptured head with huge eyes, excellent strong, straight legs, nice short back, great neck, fantastic shoulder- He is definitely a keeper for the future of our program. We anxiously await the arrival of the AA Al Bashyr foals of: EAI Talraffaa (Tamaal x Raffaala), SBF Karizmaa (MB Talmaar x Rakizah) and AMA Karina (PVA Kariim x BB Ora Kalila). The foals will be arriving from early to mid April. Be sure to watch this page for updates. March 2008 Anna Halima Shah (Ansata Sirius x NF Bint Sajha) surprised us with the first US born foal by AA Al Bashyr. She foaled a spectacular filly on March 30, 2008 for owners Michael & Leslie Nord of Royal Shahara Arabians in Spokane, Washington. We can't wait to see how this filly does in future showing. She has an absolutely gorgeous head with humongous eyes, nice short back and excellent straight legs, and is an outstanding mover. December 2007 Our thanks to our wonderful neighbors, Eleanor and Nelson for the fabulous, HUGE, Christmas gift basket for our horses! It was filled with all of the horses' favorite treats. Eleanor and Nelson "spoil" our horses and the horses just love them. The horses and we are so lucky and thankful to have such great neighbors. Congratulations to Yaron Yehaskel, owner and breeder of Sahara Alabina (AA Al Bashyr x Kaya), on their recent second place win in fillies of 2006 at the Israeli Nationals. Alabina was in a tough class of 12 fillies. She received some of the highest scores for legs and movement of the show! Congratulations to Rick and Susan Grizzell of Richmond, VA on the purchase of Orashahman, Hajalah and MB Immbara. We could not ask for better people to buy our horses. We know what a wonderful, loving home they will have. We had a great day 10/20 with visitors Connie and Terry Arnett and Rick and Susan Grizzell. Sure wish you all lived closer. What great people you all are!!!

A great time was had by all at the Wind Drinker Open House. AA Al Bashyr was one of the favorites! He looked fabulous in his Native Costume presentation.
August 2007 Congratulations to Lance Lewis and his partner, Serr Signature, for his spectacular win of Reserve National Champion in Showmanship at the 2007 Arabian Youth Nationals. Lance and Serr also made the cut for the finals in Walk Trot! Way to go guys! July 2007 Congratulations to Rick and Susan Grizzell of Richmond, VA on the purchase of our 2007 colt, Orashahman, by DW Signature and out of Orashahhna. We know he will have a fabulous home with them. A big congratulations to Lance Lewis and Serr Signature (DW Signature x Bint Serr Pasha) on their recent Region 9 wins. They were Region 9 Reserve Champions in the Showmanship 13y and under and also Top 5 in the Hunter Pleasure Walk-Trot 9 and 10 yr olds as well as Top 5 in the Hunter Seat Equitation Walk-Trot 9 and 10 yr olds!! Way to go Lance and Serr! AA Al Bashyr continues to do exceptionally well with his performance training. Watch for him at the Wind Drinker Arabians open house on September 22, 2007. He will be presented in Native Costume. June 2007 We had such a wonderful time at the 2007 US Egyptian Event. We are ecstatic with the interest shown in AA Al Bashyr. Our thanks to the literally hundreds of visitors that we received at his stall and also the Stallion Presentation. It was so heartwarming to hear all of the positive feedback from new and established breeders from around the world. We enjoyed meeting each and every one of you. Our thanks to all who decided to breed their mares to Bashyr. He will have a fabulous group of mares from which to breed. We were quite impressed with the quality and bloodlines that are being offered to him. Thanks to Marion Richmond of Simeon Stud of Australia. You made our day. We are still beaming over your kind words about Bashyr and our breeding program.

We are so very pleased to announce the arrival of AA Al Bashyr from Israel. He is a dream come true for us. Bashyr arrived here at Paradise Egyptian Stud on April 24th. He brought tears to our eyes as he stepped off of the trailer. His photos and video just do not do him justice. We feel so fortunate to be his caretakers while he is in the states. We know that he will make a huge impact on the US for years to come. The response to him has been amazing.

MB Immbara foaled a fine filly by Hajal on April 12th. She is extremely upright with beautiful conformation. We just love her and she will be retained to add to our broodmare band.
Orashahhna gave us a beautiful colt on April 11th. He is gorgeous in every way and has the most loving dispositon. They were first in Showmanship 13y and under (his 4th time to win it) and 1st in Gelding in Hand. He was 4th in Hunt Seat Walk-Trot as well as second in Hunter Pleasure Walk-Trot (behind Minnesota Spats, Multi-National Champion Hunter Gelding)! To top off the entire show, he won the 10 yr old
December 2006 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the loss of our beautiful and precious Ora Shahlea. She was our pride and joy and has left a void that can never be filled. On a happier note- Serr Signature (DW Signature x Bint Serr Pasha) has attained enough points in halter and performance to qualify for his Legion of Merit. Way to go Lance and Serr!

October 2005 Paradise Egyptian Stud is extremely pleased to announce the purchase and arrival of the stallion, Hajal (Ibn Shaikh x Hafiidah by Al Fattah). Hajal was bred by the legendary Gleannloch Farms and is one of only two Ibn Shaikh sons standing in the grandson of Shaikh Al Badi, Bint Alaa Al Din, Al Fattah and Bint Bint Hanaa.

We are proud to announce the birth of NF Anna Halima Shah's first foal, a gorgeous colt sired by DW Signature. This colt is superb and has the most beautiful eyes imaginable. Excellent movement! We love everything about him!
